Success Is Earned, Not Given.
With a declining enrollment and a new president focused on a message of diversity, Colorado State University–Pueblo approached us for help. We listened to their concerns, understood their challenges and got to work.
We created a unique marketing strategy inspired by the very students we were targeting. We learned that Pack students are far more likely to be minorities, likely the first in their family to attend college and have no expectation of success just because they enroll. We knew what they knew—if they wanted success, they had to go get it.
Stack recruited students with real stories of grit and determination. From a military veteran with PTSD to former gang members to a young person with autism, we tapped into the very spirit these untraditional students display every day. They know dreams without effort are just hollow ideas, that a better tomorrow demands hard work today.
Celebrating that resolve had an impact. Enrollment started improving within a semester of launching the campaign and even we were inspired by these students who take nothing for granted.
